Delays are a train driver’s worst nightmare, and while it’s true upcoming VR train simulator Derail Valley has seen a modest setback after its planned January 18th launch, the game is now full steam ahead as it makes its Early Access debut on the Oculus Store and Steam this week.

HTC is now on its fourth batch in its $100 million accelerator program, which offers education, investment and mentorship to startups doing unique and and interesting things around VR and AR. This year’s Vive X Demo Days is said to take place in Beijing on May 8th, Tokyo on May 16th, London on May 23rd, and in San Francisco on June 4th.

On the other side, I’m afraid that for consumers this means also paying more for the VR content they like : if before training a year with FitXR was costing $30, now it will cost $120. HTC is going to launch its headset on May, 11th. HTC is keeping rising the hype for its new upcoming headset. IKEA releases IKEA Studio.

It wasn’t long ago that HTC and Oculus had a competing launch window for their VR headsets, with both systems selling out almost immediately and backorders piling up for months into the year. The demos are all open to the public, but you can probably expect a line. You can check the full list of participating locations on their site.

It’s a boxing training disguised as a game. HitMotion is a game that all over the years has always been at the cutting edge of technology: in 2016 it was the tech demo of a full-body VR game using VR headsets and Kinects made for my startup Immotionar. A target being hit in the new version of HitMotion: Reloaded.
