This is another Vive-X company working in the educational sector and that has given me interesting insights into the educational ecosystem in China , that confirmed what I have learned speaking with Langzou and Judao. I’ve found this statement interesting for a few reasons: Europe wants to be a leader in this transition, and so fight the usual tech domination by US and China. Xiaomi and Oculus are strong partners for the Oculus Go, that is being manufactured by Xiaomi and sold in the west by Oculus and in China by Xiaomi itself, with the name Mi VR. The fact that Xiaomi doesn’t believe in the project anymore, and that in China the device has not sold well are for sure not good news for Oculus.
