A piece of unexpected news has shaken the XR communities this week: according to a report on Digitimes Taiwan, Apple has abandoned its AR/VR glasses project and all the members of the team have been re-allocated in other teams. Oculus is working on 2nd gen VR. We don’t know what Oculus will present, but we have some hints.

Viveport President, Rikard Steiber, recently announced at Virtual Reality Developer Convention (VRDC) in San Francisco that HTC will be unveiling the Viveport Arcade , a new content delivery platform for arcade operators. Viveport Arcade is launching first in China and Taiwan. Friends can rent out of a room and engage in VR together.
