During a portion of the stream, co-hosted by Head of Social VR Rachel Franklin, Zuckerberg travelled to Puerto Rico. Indeed, the very idea of using Puerto Rico’s struggles to advertize is irksome. VR brings us closer to the world than any other technology out there, but that means we have to be more conscious and sensitive to what we show then ever. While the list of ballparks featuring the out-of-home version isn’t public yet, the report holds that at least two demonstrations are confirmed; one in Puerto Rico for the Indians and Twins games in April and the other in Mexico for the Dodgers and Padres games in May.

Microsoft is poised to release a series of PC-powered VR headsets and Google is about to launch the Pixel 2 with an upgraded Daydream View.
