This night I woke up at 3am to participate in HTC Vive’s event on ENGAGE because I read that it was an “HTC VIVE LAUNCH EVENT” and I was super-confident in the launch of the Cosmos XR or at least of the Cosmos Play. Some of these key players, like ENGAGE, are companies in which HTC already invests into.

Image by HTC Vive). HTC launches Vive Focus 3 and Vive Pro 2. In the end, the rumors were correct and HTC launched two headsets at VIVECON: the Vive Pro 2 and the Vive Focus 3 Business Edition. But this device got also some criticism: first of all , HTC has not released new controllers and still sells it with the old Wands.

HTC loves playing with the words, so “get down to business” can be a reference to the fact that it is a “business headset”. Top news of the week. Not much, honestly.

HTC is donating over 110 HTC Vive systems to California and Nevada libraries through its new Vive Libraries Program, an effort to seed local communities with premium VR. ” In California alone, HTC has donated 100 Vive headsets to public libraries. This year we had the launch of two amazing 6 DOF all-in-one Virtual Reality headsets : the Oculus Quest and the HTC Vive Focus Plus. USB should have OTG enabled; Battery : 3 hours nominal duration; Vive Focus Plus and controllers (Image by HTC). HTC provides streaming to Miracast devices , but lacks the streaming to the phone.

It has been the first time for me having a booth in a so distant and different country like China, and I have learned lots of lessons in the process.
