We all know that without perfect finger tracking and haptic feedback, having a good virtual keyboard is complicated. Controllers are in my opinion much more suitable for walking and shooting in games because they offer a better control scheme, and also they provide the haptics sensation that is very satisfying when you are shooting.

It’s interesting to read that the displays also support a foveated-rendering mode, which cuts down the transmitted data bandwidth to 60%. The haptic feedback of typing on a surface is much worse than the one of a keyboard, plus hand tracking is too prone to errors when the hands are close to a surface. This seems a great result to me.
