The Facebook Connect is close and we all expect that during that conference Oculus is finally going to announce the new Oculus Quest. Even if most of this roundup will be about Oculus, I have decided to put another brand on top of it and it is Magic Leap. Together with Air Link, Oculus has also rolled out the new version of Oculus Avatars.

To showcase its functionality, HTC showed some videos of the tracker in use to improve the performances of hands tracking and also with the tracker installed on external props. I think for instance about the SenseGlove Nova, which has these big controllers attached to the gloves just to have 6DOF tracking. It is very interesting.

In the meanwhile, UK retailer Argos has published by error a page on its e-store in which the device is listed for sale at £700 , specifying no release date, though. Microsoft has just released its OpenXR implementation, while other companies like Oculus and Epic Games are still working on theirs, and they will be released soon.

HTC has basically copy-pasted the Oculus Touch controllers, that are in my opinion the most ergonomic controllers on the market (yes, even more than the Knuckles) and so I expect their comfort to be incredibly good.
