The program was developed using star images from NASA. An educational VR experience called Kilo Hōkū ( Navigating the Stars ) is being used as part of Punahou School’s “Voyaging at Punahou” program to teach students how to navigate open waters using practical star navigation methods. “The VR program puts students out at sea,” said Taryn Loveman, director of Design Technology and Engineering.

Walkabout Mini Golf is coming “soon” to Sony’s PS5-powered VR headset, developer Mighty Coconut confirmed today. UploadVR also confirmed the studio has no plans to bring the standout mini golf experience to PSVR 1. “We have no plans to be available on PSVR1 at this time but are always assessing the best use of our resources relative to player interest,” a Mighty Coconut representative wrote over email.

Sony listed four previously unconfirmed games coming to PSVR 2, including an unannounced sequel to First Contact Entertainment’s Solaris Offworld Combat. The games were listed on the German PlayStation Blog in the gallery area with a subheader listing “Solaris Offworld Combat 2” alongside a trailer for the original game. The title also appears in the tags for the site.

Sony released a first look at the PlayStation VR2 internal components, tearing down the headset and Sense controllers across two new videos. Following its PS5 console teardown , Sony is doing the same for Playstation VR2 a week before launch. The first video is hosted by Takamasa Araki from the Mechanical Design team, who previously designed the original PSVR headset.
