Next Friday, PokerStars VR will kick off their inaugural PokerStars Virtual Reality Poker Tournament, offering players the chance to obtain eternal poker glory and join the ranks of fellow PokeStars legends. Composed of three virtual “stops,” the tournament will feature buy-ins catering to players of varying levels, beginning with three events taking place at the end of the month.

VR and AR vendors are seeing a lot more growth on the enterprise side of the market, with 46 percent saying that growth has been strong or very strong for enterprise VR, and 47 percent saying the same about enterprise AR and MR. By comparison, only 24 percent are reporting strong growth for consumer virtual reality, and only 31 percent say the same for consumer augmented reality and mixed reality technology, according to a survey of hundreds of businesses

Sony today announced it’s putting out a new PSVR Mega Pack this year, the Europe-only hardware bundle that includes five pretty legit games. Although once again they’re still not including PS Move controllers. Last year’s Mega Pack included Astro Bot Rescue Mission, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Wipeout: Omega Collection, Doom VFR , and PSVR Worlds.

Oculus Rift and Valve Index owners got their own promotions recently for a few free months of Viveport Infinity, HTC’s Netflix-style VR game distribution platform. Now it’s Samsung HMD Odyssey’s turn, as Odyssey owners can get in on the deal. From now until the end of the year, both new and existing Infinity members who own a Samsung Odyssey—and presumably its higher-resolution hardware refresh, Odyssey Plus—will be able to redeem two free months of Viveport Infinity.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) loves to promote its PlayStation VR virtual reality (VR) headset around the festive season with a nice Mega Pack. This is a bundle featuring five popular experiences, the PlayStation Camera and of course the headset. Today, the latest European Mega Pack has been revealed with a couple of videogame alterations. The 2018 Mega Pack included Astro Bot Rescue Mission, WipEout Omega Collection, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR, Doom VFR, and PlayStation VR Worlds.

Indie developer Tessera Studios launched its first virtual reality (VR) compatible videogame exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR back in February. Now the team has confirmed they’ve been working on a PC port of the psychological thriller, with a launch now planned for next week. Supporting Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Valve Index headsets, Intruders: Hide and Seek is exactly that, a deadly game of hide and seek.
