They had previously worked with groups from NASA and NOAA to Niantic and Google to the Department of Energy. That’s something Google has already been doing. They’ve recently had their name in the papers for their Dallas Cowboys demo with Nexus and what they called the world’s first massively multiplayer AR game.

A great example comes from the Google Expeditions app, which is designed for teachers to use with their classes and features hundreds of adventures to choose from across history, science, the arts and the natural world. Meanwhile, VR can transport students to a completely different place and time.

And so startup STRIVR Labs has launched into a new enterprise VR training business, while still remaining in the sports VR training game. Belch said the company is looking at Google Daydream very closely and believes the controller will open up a unique way to select things in training.

Granted, I understand that showing 2D screenshots of VR is difficult, and that VR generally lags behind traditional console and PC gaming in terms of graphics. Someone looking to play a game is going to go with something like Grand Theft Auto V (and continue to move on to the next biggest thing when they come out). • The live concerts!
