HTC Vive Cosmos will work with Vive Wireless Adapter. This week, HTC has not made another big reveal about the Vive Cosmos, so we’ll still have to wait to discover more about its price and its features. It’s more a logistic thing internal to HTC, so I think most of us can not care about this :D. Oculus Summer Sale has arrived!

And it feels weird that HTC hasn’t fixed such a cheap little component that was already faulty on the original Vive. In his video, it seems that the Pico Neo 3 is exactly what we would expect, that is a good clone of the Oculus Quest 2. He’s most probably talking about the Oculus Quest 2 Pro. This is so cute and lovely!

In 2014 Sony began a project under the pseudonym Morpheus! That was the case with the first VR headset and certainly with the Oculus Rift DK2 (second developers kit from Oculus). Sony uses in their VR headset one 120Hz RGB OLED panel, just like the single panel in the DK2. The tracking system is a bit different.

New Oculus Venues gives us a glimpse of Facebook Horizon. Without previous notice, Facebook has started rolling out a new version of Oculus Venues, for now available only to selected beta users. They claim that who was hoping for a faster adoption was wrong; The Oculus Quest+Link makes up only around 3% of the Steam population. HTC adds better offerings for its Cosmos headset.

Talking about visuals, the display resolution is 1800 × 1920 per eye, which is even less than the one of the Quest 2, but here there are two displays, one per each eye , so there are fewer “wasted pixels” Plus the lenses are not Fresnel ones, but pancake lenses studied to give you a bigger eye box.
