The character was the your head, while your actual body was in the virtual world, immersing you in Turtles’ iconic New York City world. A combination of software was used to execute the endeavor, including Adobe Character Animator, Unreal Engine, and NewTeK NDI.

It’s the prequel novel to not one, but rather an entire series of upcoming Scraper VR games, headed by the budding Labrodex Studios out of Jericho, NY. As Labrodex’s founder, Jim Ivon, initially told me over the phone, Labrodex intends to release three Scraper games with five episodes of content per game.

Top news of the week. Some time ago, the most important companies of the XR ecosystem (HTC, Oculus, Microsoft, etc…) joined the Khronos Group to discuss a standard to end the fragmentation of the XR space. The forced update has created a huge backlash from the PC community , the one that has made the game succeed in all these years.

We had at the same time the Game Developer Conference (the GDC) and the GPU Technology Conference (GTC) by NVIDIA, so we had lots of announcements about 3D technology in general and also about XR. There have been companies that have tried to compete with HTC in this market, but they all had their big share of trouble in doing that.
