What puzzled me is that there is no software setup. I expected some sorts of runtime, configuration panel, hardware diagnostic tool, etc… instead, there is nothing. The finger tracking can be improved and it is worse than the one of Leap Motion, also because every finger has not all its DOF tracked.

These are all very positive news for VR: the technology is slowly getting adoption and while not mainstream yet, I agree with Zuck that in 1–2 years we’ll start getting there. The technology is amazing, but I think it’s too rough to be reliably used nowadays in gaming. All of this is cool, but I think it’s also a smoke of hype.
