My hands-on with their latest device—which is smaller, lighter, and more comfortable than prior iterations—offered me moments of magic where it felt like my hand was actually interacting with real objects. Snapchat AR Lenses Jump from Mobile to Desktop with Snap Camera App

For the entirety of its existence, Snapchat has lived on mobile, but in its quest to lead the augmented reality industry, the company is now bringing those mobile AR experiences to desktops. On Friday, Snap introduced Snap Camera, an app for PC and Mac that gives users access to thousands of AR face effects through their webcam. Snap Camera's library of Lenses includes effects built by its internal teams as well as those created by Lens Studio users.

The game will be available for purchase on Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows VR headsets on November 21st, priced at $30. A PSVR version is slated to release on December 18th.
