Unity changes how it handles XR Plugins. There will be an XR plugins manager, and some of them will be managed by Unity together with its partners (e.g. So sad for me, considering the 5 years I’ve spent using Vuforia in Unity… so many memories…. Even though the participants had no prior knowledge of the Leap Motion SDK or Unity, they were able to develop a manually adjustable and automatically evolving difficulty and points bonus algorithm.

The third major change came from Unity which recently announced that it will now be serving AR ads on mobile. Unity has one of the world’s largest mobile ad serving businesses and at the end of last year they partnered with Fossil to pilot this new ad format in mobile games.
