Meta CTO Andrew ‘Boz’ Bosworth says the company would “love” to have some sort of Discord integration on Quest in the future, pending interest from Discord, that is—once again highlighting the fact that Quest really just needs Google Play. Meta isn’t exactly throwing its weight around to tempt Discord into supporting the Quest platform, although that’s probably equally true for a ton of services currently missing from Meta’s XR app store.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority recently outlined a plan to introduce the new Liverpool Baltic Merseyrail station, ready for use in 2027. The Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram introduced the project in 2022, aiming to boost public transportation accessibility in the area. The project marks a huge investment in the region. Currently, forecasts estimate the project to cost roughly £100 million.

QuestCraft 5.0 revamps the unofficial Minecraft VR port for Quest 3 with performance improvements. In the absence of an official standalone release, QuestCraft is a wrapper for Minecraft with full motion control support that you can sideload onto Quest headsets. Previously one of the only Quest 2 apps that didn't work on Quest 3 , SideQuest's recent ' Indie Spotlight ' presentation announced that QuestCraft Version 5.0 is available now and fixes this compatibility issue.

Boneworks (2019) , the physics-driven PC VR shooter from Stress Level Zero, isn’t a Quest-native game, but thanks to a third-party mod for Bonelab (2022), called ‘Labworks’, you can play the entire campaign on Quest—no PC required. Developed by modder ‘volx64’, Labworks now includes the entire campaign of Boneworks, which can be played in Bonelab on a Quest 2/3/Pro.

As announced last week by TSMC, later this year the company is set to start high-volume manufacturing on its N3P fabrication process, and this will be the company's most advanced node for a while. Demeo is out now on Apple Vision Pro, with support for fully immersive VR. If you somehow haven't heard of it, Demeo is a virtual tabletop turn-based RPG for up to four players. As well as supporting VR on Meta Quest, PlayStation VR2, Pico, PC VR, and now Apple Vision Pro, a flatscreen version is also available for PC, PlayStation 5, iPad, and Mac. Quest and Pico players can also choose to play in mixed reality.

Beat Saber is the VR rhythm game behemoth that can’t be stopped. Just two months after dropping the Daft Punk music pack , Beat Games is teasing its next music pack, the free OST 7 pack. Beat Saber launched as a little-known indie game in early access on SteamVR all the way back in May 2018. It was clear then that it was something special, but I don’t think anyone can say they knew just how big it would be—it reportedly surpassed $250 million in lifetime sales as of 2023.

The first official Warhammer VR game for out-of-home VR attractions has been fully revealed. And it wouldn’t be a proper Warhammer game without an incredibly long title: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine VR – Warriors of Avarax. The experience is planned to launch in October at Zero Latency locations worldwide. We knew as of 2022 that a Warhammer 40K experience was in development for VR attraction Zero Latency.

Originally released in 2014 for flatscreen platforms, The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter is a horror adventure where you play as a paranormal investigator investigating the titular character's disappearance. While PC VR support later arrived as paid DLC , developer The Astronauts confirmed the DLC is being delisted since they "can no longer support" it.
