This past September Half-Life 2: VR Mod launched on Steam, allowing players to immerse themselves in Valve’s iconic first-person shooter game like never before. In the official roadmap, the Source VR Mod Team teased eventual VR support for Half-Life 2: Episode One and Half-Life 2: Episode Two.

XR is a term that encompasses virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality technologies. I myself switched from Apple to Samsung in 2015 specifically for Samsung’s Gear VR headset. But when Samsung cancelled the project, I switched to the Google Pixel to stay close to Google’s VR platform.

PSVR 2 is 7% lighter than the original PSVR, despite utilizing new headset technology like haptic feedback and eye-tracking. With just over two weeks until PSVR 2 launches, Sony released a new FAQ today that seeks to address any outstanding questions about the upcoming VR headset. While much of the included information was already known, such as how PSVR 2 isn’t backward compatible with PSVR games , this FAQ did reveal the new headset is lighter than its predecessor.
