For instance, in the AWE Nite Florence events, Cecilia Lascialfari always cares about the graphical images to promote the event, the social media marketing, the choice of the speakers, the speakers’ onboarding, the coordination with AWE in the US, etc… And we are talking about an online video event with just 3 speakers per session!

Zoom has announced a partnership with Facebook’s #Oculus that will let users meet in virtual reality.

It was something different from the Oculus Connect , that is instead focused on announcements by Facebook. In a video shown during the keynote, it was possible to see two people collaborating in AR on the same 3D model of an environment; HTC has shown some videos of some developers using early devkits of the Vive Cosmos XR.

Maybe NextVR has some patents for video streaming that Apple wants to use in its upcoming XR visor? Since most people with a PC VR headset use both Steam and Oculus Store, we can expect this to be a reliable estimate of PC VR people around. Here again, I was expecting more, giving the very high popularity of the Oculus Quest.

Oculus Quest 2 keeps showing impressive sales stats. Since the game works through the Oculus Store, it can exploit all the features of the Oculus SDK (e.g. Oculus Avatars), plus the features of the store (e.g. Sidequest was completely free of control, while on App Lab you have to adhere to Oculus guidelines.
