ARKit  — ARKit is one of the powerful AR SDK released by Apple on 2017 to build AR solutions using iOS devices. It is useful to simulate situations that are too dangerous or difficult to recreate in real life. Imagine an accident on nuclear plants or a military attack, AR/VR is opening a way to simulate these scenarios.

Apple strikes deal for indoor maps and buys NextVR. This has been a great week for competition in the AR space since also Apple has performed some interesting moves.

A total of 43 persons (39 passengers and 4 cabin crew) participated in the tests in KLM’s motion base cabin simulator. Each participant made the same three simulated flights: (1) a normal flight with minor turbulence, (2) a normal flight with moderate turbulence, and (3) a flight with an emergency (rapid decompression, oxygen masks).
