If the headset does work on the other PC (like in my case), then there is some software problem with SteamVR. There are anyway other tools that can help in configuring it properly. To enter SteamVR Beta, open Steam and Select Library -> Tools. Razer Synapse. Try your Vive headset on another PC, if you can.
