The main one regards the 4 devices we were waiting for this year , which in our opinion should have changed everything: Quest 3, Apple Vision Pro, Google-Samsung Headset, and PSVR 2. There was (and still is) quite a good hype for these headsets, exactly as there was hype for what was Oculus Santa Cruz, the codename of the Oculus Quest.

Its strategy is more akin to wanting to be a second Apple than what Google did with Android. Google is building an 'Android XR' platform to power Samsung's upcoming headset. And while Samsung may have a period of exclusivity, that almost certainly ( and reportedly ) won't last forever.

HTC has finally revealed the price of the Vive Pro : it will cost $799 just to have the headset (no controller and no base stations, so you must already have a Vive 1 kit) and will be available for pre-orders since April, 5th. Last year we had nReal showing us that AR can be trendy, and HTC making us dream with the Vive Cosmos. HTC and Valve do this with their Vive controllers that are super low latency and extremely accurate and Oculus does this with their touch controllers and their extremely natural ergonomics. Ultimately, hands free VR is the holy grail and I think that Qualcomm has brought us one step closer to that reality.
