The project is carried on by Microsoft which was given the monster contract of $22B to create this device by modifying its HoloLens glasses. The next step is about trying to integrate the glasses with cloud services, something about which Microsoft is a worldwide leader thanks to Azure. I will leave you the link to do that below.

After further tests on the device, t he Army has begun accepting the first 5000 units that Microsoft should manufacture. In such a complicated economic moment and with the US spending many millions to send weapons to Ukraine, this program may not be considered a priority by politicians.
