XR Games , the studio behind couch co-op VR game The Angry Birds Movie 2 VR: Under Pressure (2019), has secured $2 million (£1.5 million) in a recent funding round, which was led by Praetura Ventures alongside existing investor ACT Capital Partners. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Leeds, England, Angry Birds Movie 2 VR was its second VR game, coming after their first production, the Cardboard game All-Star Fruit Racing (2018).
