Even so, a far more important data point we do have is software sales—this is a key metric for differentiating between a platform and a product. Sure Oculus and HTC get articles written about them but that is mostly for the hardware side. Garnering acclaim for Raw Data, a VR game that was the first make 1 million dollars in sales, the team got the attention of MGM and is now moving faster at making VR HITS than any other VR development company in the space.

We played on Oculus Quest 2, but it’s crossplay between Quest 1, Quest 2, and PC VR headsets with cross-buy on Rift and Quest. The game uses photogrammetry data to present you with 3D puzzles based on real places. It’s been a long journey to the Oculus Store for UploadVR Harry Baker 10. VR is already finding its way into flight training programs: Airbus, for one, has been able to reduce training time and train more people in limited space using VR to supplement training in real aircraft; while Future Visual created a simulation for Oculus which takes pilot students through the entire pre-flight process.
