Microsoft announced at their at Future Decoded conference in London that HoloLens, the company’s augmented reality headset, will be expanding its international availability to include all of the European Union in December.

South Korea has the highest suicide rate in East Asia, and the second highest in the world, behind Lithuania. Samsung has announced a new VR-focused partnership with Gangam Severance Hospital in Seoul. The electronics giant will provide VR headsets and wearable devices to the hospital, while software developer FNI will create mental health diagnostic tools and interventions.

The Vilnius, Lithuania-based Game Insight said it will launched the ARKit demo as an app for spectators on iOS in the fall. Game Insight has had more than 10 million downloads for Guns of Boom, and now it has figured out a novel way to increase the numbers of people watching multiplayer matches of this mobile first-person shooter. Using Apple’s ARKit, Game Insight created an augmented reality demo that enables someone to view a 3D scene of the action from an overhead perspective.
