If you've been debating on whether or not HTC's new virtual reality headset, the Vive, is worth the $800 price tag, then you'll be able to find out for yourself soon enough. They will have 10 retail locations across the US, and Microsoft will add 11 more Microsoft Stores stateside with testing stations toward the end of the month.

Speaking with the New York Times recently , Andrew House, President of Sony Computer Entertainment, confirmed the PSVR sales data. As the first company to offer such information, it means that Sony is not only happy with the figure, but likely confident that they’re well ahead of the competing Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

To showcase its functionality, HTC showed some videos of the tracker in use to improve the performances of hands tracking and also with the tracker installed on external props.

Triad was an instrumental partner in bringing Valve’s tracking technology to production , with the photodiodes used in SteamVR headsets, tracking pucks, and motion controllers produced by Triad’s factory and shipped to off-shore manufacturing partners building XR equipment for brands like HTC, Pimax, Varjo , StarVR, and Valve.
