The virtual portion of the experience is powered by The Void’s proprietary VR hardware and built entirely on the Unity game engine, one of the first engines to offer Oculus Rift integration and remains of the most popular among VR devs. When we finally did get our hands on it, we were impressed.

At an event in New York City this morning Acer showed its latest tech offerings. Visually, the screen texture felt similar to the Oculus Rift. There were also some God-rays around white letters floating in black, similar to the Oculus Rift. The Edge browser and the video player ran smoothly. Ergonomics.
