The eye tracking cameras sense the positions of your pupils and tiny piezoelectric actuators move the lenses into place. And I mean fully. This basic idea isn’t new.

Considering that Quest supports multitasking for 2D apps, this is great to use the Quest as a tool to work: you could have Slack in one Window, and Google Doc in another, and work on a document together with your team. This device looks like a big pair of glasses (it reminds me the Bose Rondo) and it has installed on a lot of sensors: 2 IR external cameras, 2 IR internal cameras (for eye tracking), 1 RGB camera, 7 microphones, 2 IMUs. I don’t trust Facebook, Google, and all the other marketers where “You are the product” being sold.
