It was first widely shipped in PlayStation VR, and Sony still uses it for PSVR 2. Microsoft chose this approach for HoloLens 2, which Quest Pro actually bears a striking resemblance to. Halo straps put all the pressure against your upper forehead. The Oculus Rift S was Facebook’s only previous headset with a halo strap.
