Our brain is very plastic and the BCI could trigger the right parts of the brain so that you feel haptic sensations on 6 fingers if your avatar has 6 fingers. When I tried the Looxid Labs add-on for the Vive I’ve found it interesting, but its data were pretty noisy, and some community members defined it as “another random numbers generator”.
