Apple may announce its headset at WWDC 2022. A new week, a new rumor about Apple. This time it comes from Bloomberg, which predicts that Apple will announce its MR headset in June 2022 during WWDC , to launch it some months later, probably during the holiday season. Image by Google). Project Iris is the codename of Google’s AR glasses. According to a report on The Verge, Google is working on AR glasses. The operating system should be Android, but it seems that Google is also building an operating system specific for XR. Thanks Marco Giammetti for the tip). What about yours?

Talking about visuals, the display resolution is 1800 × 1920 per eye, which is even less than the one of the Quest 2, but here there are two displays, one per each eye , so there are fewer “wasted pixels” Plus the lenses are not Fresnel ones, but pancake lenses studied to give you a bigger eye box. 3D reconstruction.
