It isn’t alone, we know of many companies that are spending billions on same, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Sony, Magic Leap, Huawei, and others. They can’t look nerdy like Google Glass did. Yes, they use similar tools, if not the same tool, as AR developers use: like Unity. Yes they think in 3D.

Or better, I can imagine who can be the names and they are all the big monoliths: Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon , etc… Only companies of this size could afford selling a good headset under cost and at the same time attract enough developers to publish VR games on their own new stores. There will be at least another big game.

Waiting until now would mean that next VR game by Valve would come out in 2024–2025… do you really think they don’t want to make the ecosystem to grow now?
