Sony announced a new addition to its growing lineup of Spatial Reality Displays. Available for purchase next month, the ELF-SR2 is a 27-inch 4K display that can supposedly deliver immersive 3D content without the need for additional hardware, such as augmented reality (AR) glasses or a VR headset.

Chinese manufacturers BOE and SeeYA may provide cheaper displays in higher quantities than Sony is doing now, while Samsung may be supplying the DRAM components. According to a recent report, the successor of the first Vision Pro may come in 2026 and have a price comprised between $1500 and $2500.

You can still replay the awards ceremony on Youtube, though.

PlayStation VR has been the most successful headset until now (if we exclude the crappy mobile viewers), but now it is pretty dated and people were wondering what Sony was going to do. Some people started to think that Sony could have abandoned VR.

Unreal Engine 5 gets released in Early Access. After a lot of teasing of its upcoming fantastic features, Unreal Engine 5 is finally available for download.
