Founded by Cody Russell and Tristan Hampson as part of the tech incubator EvoNexus, the immersive new experience creates an intense level of realism by using both VR and actual indoor wind tunnels to accurately simulate the physical sensations of free falling. I couldn’t, but maybe I’m just evil. .

Facebook is investing billions for hardware creation, and it is going to move 4,000 employes working on AR hardware in a new venue just built in California. This software, running on the Varjo XR-1 (the mixed reality headset), is able to show in front of you all the displays that you want. Great job, Mozilla!

Each screen depicts imagery of iconic California landmarks, such as the Redwood Forest, Yosemite National Park, and, of course, California’s coastal scenery, but with a vintage California travel poster-feel to them. Once the camera detects your presence, the software then launches the interactive media in the installation.
