Gemba, the corporate VR learning platform, announced it’s closed an $18 million Series A funding round, which the company says will be used to continue expansion into Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America. The latest funding round was led by Parkway Venture Capital, now valuing the UK-based company at $60 million.

I am also excited because thanks to the organizers of the VRX event, yesterday I have been able to interview Facebook’s Sean Liu and ask him some questions about Oculus and its vision of Virtual Reality. South-Africa startup Eden Labs has created an interesting design for VR headsets needed in public installations to show 360 videos.

If you don’t have enough of this stuff, Amazon is your friend. I am so glad that I changed my laptop for Christmas: the new one is an i7 with RTX2060 which lets me use virtual reality. We are lucky that we have virtual reality. Virtual Reality is fantastic to escape this current situation, so exploit it.
