Same goes for gesture control, it is basically used for video game industry only. Yes, there is Microsoft Hololens that allows its users to click and open the menu using a hand, but far more expected is the integration of one of the Leap Motion or ManoMotion (or any other) solutions with the mass-produced products.

I’m here to attend the WCVRI , a very big event about Virtual Reality in China, where I am exhibiting HitMotion: Reloaded , the mixed reality fitness game of my agency New Technology Walkers ( contact us if you need some VR development!). This signs seems to say: 2019 World Conference on NO VR INDUSTRY. I liked it a lot.

Unrelated to my demos with the XR-4, I have also tried a demo with a previous Varjo headset and a plane simulation machine together with Microsoft Flight Simulator. To work, it requires a login: at least once every 48 hours, the headset should be connected to the network (via its computer) and communicate the login.

Thanks to BCI, we could have a virtual reality that goes beyond physical reality. Canon has just announced the launch in Japan of MREAL S1 , its latest mixed reality headset for the industry. This new runtime improves a lot the accuracy of hand tracking on Windows PCs, even with the old Leap Motion Controller.
