But now, these days are over and while the standalone headsets like Vive Focus and Oculus Go are rising, the mobile headsets are becoming always more something of the past. The amount of the deal has not been disclosed, but Chinese magazine VRTuoLuo reports that it has been 5B RMB (a bit less $800M), while another Chinese portal reported the sum of 9B RMB, but then removed this detail from its article later on. As it has happened with Oculus, this news is good and bad for Pico and VR in general.

This has been the week of the launch of the Oculus Quest 2, and this event has been so big that basically, it will take half of this roundup to describe. Facebook releases the Oculus Quest 2. Even if with the Quest 1 was possible to play Oculus Go games, this support has been abandoned on the Quest 2. Top news of the week.
