Sony Interactive Entertainment has finally announced that PSVR 2 will be launched on February 22nd, 2023 for $549. The collaboration between Microsoft and Samsung is now over. Anyway, things have not gone as we all hoped.

I said that the winner of the 2016 match has been HTC, but actually, the real winner of the tethered headset market at that time has been Sony , with the PSVR headset exploiting the existing Playstation 4 userbase to sell more devices than the others.

HP has fixed many of the visual problems of the headse t, and Microsoft has just released a patch on Windows 10 that aims at solving many visual issues of all WMR headsets (like Chromatic aberration). But honestly, I expected a bit more … it’s a bit weird that Microsoft hasn’t solved its biggest pain point yet. News worth a mention.

OWO Haptic Vest (Image by OWO). bHaptics, a company we already know well, has instead announced TactGlove, a pair of very lightweight haptic gloves.
