Facebook’s Oculus division opened its Oculus Connect event in San Jose, Calif., You can have videos that are incredibly detailed, 6K videos that would take way too much space on your phone, but then we can do smart things about only streaming down the piece of it that the user is looking at right then. It isn’t alone, we know of many companies that are spending billions on same, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Sony, Magic Leap, Huawei, and others. It “felt” like to me that I was on Everest with him, and not in the San Jose Convention Center. They can’t look nerdy like Google Glass did.
