One of the biggest drawbacks of HTC Vive headsets with regard to Oculus Rift are the controllers: while Oculus Touch is ergonomic and can emulate the hands quite well, Vive has controllers that are quite big and are usable only as wands. showcased one year ago (Image by Cloudhead games). So, basically, you connect with a USB cable your Quest to your PC, and you can play PC VR games, on the Oculus Store, Steam or Viveport. In the meantime, the headset sends the pose of the headset and the controllers to the PC , so that the PC can render the frames and execute the logic of the game for the next frame. Why not wireless?
