HTC has confirmed this week to Upload VR that the upcoming Cosmos Play will be an enterprise headset devoted to museums and educational institutions. The second one is a study to make codec avatars work with standard headsets : it makes the avatar move their faces by just using an eye tracking sensor and a microphone.

We still need a lot of time and effort to educate people on what really is the metaverse and why it is a beautiful thing. Since Facebook doesn’t control Oculus anymore, because everything is becoming Meta, the Facebook login won’t be mandatory for “Oculus” devices anymore. We’ll get there, we have time.
