First of all, Google has to keep the work on the headset very secret also internally , because Samsung is afraid that Google will steal its expertise to build a competing product. Samsung can be the first partner also on this line of products. That’s fantastic news for all Unity XR developers!

I don’t know how many of them will prove to be true, but for sure they all can be something that can inspire you to define your XR strategy for this year. Huawei and Pico are rumored to be working on an Apple Vision Pro competitor). Investors, which were all focused on AI started to wonder if they should focus on XR again.

We were all waiting for an Apple announcement, hoping that it could bring back some enthusiasm into the field, and it seems that the Vision Pro is having some beneficial effects , indeed. Apple showed investors that XR is not a fad, and even if it is still in its early stages, it is going to stay. Let’s all hope so.

Meta is reportedly optimistic about the release of Apple Vision Pro, seeing itself as the future Android of the market. The Wall Street Journal cites "people familiar with their thinking" as saying that Meta executives believe Apple's entry into the market will "validate Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg’s gamble and draw more consumers".
