Some people say that Facebook threatens to leave Europe, but I think this is never happening. It was the community creating and publishing, with almost no control, exactly as it happens today on SideQuest. From the trailer video, it seems a pair of l ightweight AR glasses with 6DOF tracking, and two 6DOF controllers.

The Sonic seems a good device: 4K resolution, 101° FOV, 72Hz refresh rate, 256GB, and 6DOF controllers. It is a bit disappointing that it just has 2 tracking cameras, but the controllers are tracked with ultrasound beacons, so the tracking FOV should be good. It looks like a refreshed Vive Focus Plus. was a lot of money?).

The documentation was the same as before, if not for the fact that in the page about headset Input page, there was also a reference to “Oculus Jedi” controllers. Even the modified one with the header file talking about controllers just leaks the constant of their name. Something like the Valve Index controllers.

Google can count on the acquisition of North, the experience he has matured by producing Google Glass and investing in Magic Leap, and the fact that it owns the most-used mobile operating system. Some will also feature tracked controllers. Magic Leap will meet its fate. Duck Face, Magic Leap One, and me.

I can ask Google questions now; Voice, Amazon, Alexa, and Google Voice. There’s Magic Leap– Alan: Still a challenge. Magic Leap for sure. I mean, everybody’s saying Magic Leap is not so good, and they oversold what they ship. From the control, it’s way better than the HoloLens.
