Sony invests $250M in Epic Games. Sony has announced that it has made a big investment of $250M in Epic Games through one of its subsidiaries. The investment gives Sony a minority stake in Epic that now is evaluated at more than $17B. And Sony for sure wants to have a stake in the metaverse. Top news of the week.

Scraper: A Novel About Punk, is a great book about a young rocker in the early 80s and his band. I don’t think there are any Humech robots in that story like the Scraper: The Rise of Cifer novel, which is available on Amazon. I wanted a well-known sci-fi author to help with the book. No relation at all.

This is a pretty extreme pivot, and it is causing internal turmoil inside all the Meta group: the company is suggesting many people from Facebook and Instagram join Reality Labs instead , or it is promoting people working on social media to have also metaverse roles.
