Platform building requires a lot of teamwork and also the ability to work under high pressure, so look for these qualities If you’re building an XR platform, look for someone with previous experience with AR/VR technology and with previous experience with multiplayer applications. Yes, it’s a lot of time, but these are realistic projections. From time to time, I like to look at the adoption graph of XR shown by John Riccitiello (the CEO of Unity) in 2017 , where you can see that the real acceleration of immersive technologies should start around 2022-2023. VR headsets will become MR ones.

The fixed values may give problems to people with a value that is exactly in the middle between two of the allowed ones: for instance, the reviewer of Ars Technica found the Quest 2 barely usable until he moved the lenses in a position between two measures that was actually not allowed by the system but that was perfect for his eyes.
