Doghead Simulations CEO uses social VR to get back in shape. Mat Chacon , co-founder and CEO of Doghead Simulations , the company behind the VR tool Rumii, spent most of his life in remarkable shape. He’s in Miami. Depending on the workout, Chacon would use either an Oculus Go, Oculus Quest, or an HTC Vive to pump up his cardio.

The look creates a simulation like environment that always makes me think that this is my training sim for a real life hotline miami. The satisfaction of this Super Kill simulator made me feel like Neo, John Wick, and Theodore Logan all at the same time. When the game works it works soooo well.

Huge Immersive Virtual Environment (HIVE) of Miami University is a 1,000 square meters virtual reality environment, and is used for the university’s research work such as spatial cognition and medical training simulations in nursing programs.

With the Oculus Quest headset, Aptiv has been able to reduce in-person training times significantly, with most courses now only taking between 4 hours and 2 days.

I also led a group of 8 Chilean companies, that were awarded a government fund to create the 1st Chilean XR industry export hub , and within that initiative, we traveled to Immerse Global Network – Miami in December, to promote and lead the way for the Chilean XR exports. It’s a royal pain to get hardware in Chile.

Formula 2’s 2021 season is represented, and we also have the 2022 calendar’s newest track, the Miami International Autodrome. . F1 22 ticks many of simulation boxes and truthfully, I’ve never had this much fun with a serious racer. As for VR support, its slightly limited but you’ll find it where it counts.
