UploadVR’s Ian Hamilton was on the scene, and managed to get a pretty good capture of both Samsung’s and JDI’s panels with his iPhone 8 camera. Samsung showed off their 2.43-inch, Japan Display Inc. As opposed to Samsung’s display, attendees were treated to a moving scene.

JOLED, a Japan-based producer of OLED panels and displays, said it had applied for bankruptcy protection at the Tokyo District Court, citing total liabilities of ¥33.7 As a result, JOLED will shut down two plants located in Japan and terminate approximately 280 workers as it exits the OLED panel manufacturing and sales.
