In this blog, I told you about the Finnish Metaverse Strategy , but I’ve heard that also The Netherlands and Korea are bullish on this new technology.

I’m pretty sure that Sony is waiting the next few months to make some moves, there’s still the Black Friday and the Christmas Holiday that have to happen, but at the moment I do not see this device as disruptive to our ecosystem.

This week, a rumor spread among XR communities: next-gen PSVR will be announced at a press conference to be held by Sony on February, 5th. The reason is that Sony has already announced that it will launch PSVR 2 only after the PS5 , to not confuse its buyers by selling too many things together. Unity changes how it handles XR Plugins.

But in China, they are very famous, and now they are also organizing a big event about XR called FBEC with hosts from all the major VR companies (HTC, Unity, Alibaba, Huawei, etc…). For example, we invited senior executives from HUAWEI, JBD, HTC, Alibaba, iQIYI, Qualcomm, Microsoft, and so on.
