Microsoft announces Mesh, an XR collaboration platform. Alex Kipman promised us a Microsoft Ignite conference with an amazing level of immersion , and he kept his word. But since Microsoft owns one of those studios (and using it costs around $100K/day if I remember well!), You are all fantastic! Here you are my flower for you!

Some people started to think that Sony could have abandoned VR.

The company switched to an enterprise model , but apart from a rebranding and an assistance service it is not clear what it actually means, especially if compared with the enormous enterprise offering that Microsoft is giving with HoloLens (Azure services, integration with Teams, etc…). Unreal Engine 4.25 adds many XR features.

Let’s see how Apple and Google will answer. Sony closes its game studio in Manchester. According to GamesIndustry.biz, Sony is closing its Manchester-based game studio, that it opened in 2015 to produce ‘AAA’ PSVR exclusives. Google Glass 2 is now available for direct purchase. And Facebook has just made its first move.

Viveport is improving a lot, and now HTC is also launching the Vive XR Suite , which will be distributed thanks to the support of a strong network of partners like HP, NVIDIA, Baidu (the Chinese Google), and Accenture. Sony will give PS4 camera adapters for PS5 for free. Sony has answered this question in the weekend.
