Another big trend that is going on is virtual clothes. All of this would be amazing… but for now we have only a VR shooter game prototype.

Oculus has been the king of standalones , because it is selling devices at very low prices that offer great content. You just turn them on and they work.

I personally agree with what he says: notwithstanding the positive trend of VR, the ecosystem has still to grow before it enters the mainstream with the same power of a flat-screen console. Sony believes in VR, and we definitely believe at some point in the future, VR will represent a meaningful component of interactive entertainment.

My favorite ones have been: Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed that the next PSVR headset will be called PSVR 2 and will feature 2K x 2K per eye, up to 120 Hz framerate, and 110° FOV. It will be the first consumer headset with eye-tracking and foveated rendering, and also the first one to feature haptics directly on the headset.
